Setting Up Users in Appfigures
With Appfigures, your entire team can access analytics, optimization, and app intelligence individually. When you invite a new user to access your account, you can choose their role.
Appfigures sub-users are either Administrators or Viewers. These roles have varying degrees of account access.
Admins have full access to reports, account management and account settings. Admins can also be set up with full app access or limited app access.
Viewers have read-only access to reports and can only edit their personal settings. Viewers can also be set up with full app access or limited app access.

Inviting your team members to your Appfigures account
Sharing access to your Appfigures account is easy and secure with sub-user access.
To invite a new user:
- Head into your Profile → Sub-users.
- Click the Add Sub-user button.
- Enter the name and email of the user
- Select a role. Admins can view reports and also manage the account. Viewers can only view reports.
- Select which apps this user will have access to.
- Set user preferences, including the currency, timezone, and date format. All of which the user will be able to change once they're logged in.
- Click Finish.
The user will now receive an email with a link to set a password.

- * - Replying to reviews requires permission from the account's owner or an admin that has been granted permission to reply to reviews by the owner.
- ** - Viewers can set up emails, alerts, and templates for themselves, and cannot see email or alerts set up by other users. Sharing templates is not available to Viewers but they can create them.

Limiting App Access
In addition to features, users can be set up to only have access to some apps in the account. You can select those when inviting the user.
As an Admin with limited app access, the admin may not see all information in the management pages such as Linked Accounts or Ad Unit Matching pages. Limited Admins will not have the ability to add Premium Competitors (if those are available in your account).
Billing Recipients
By default, invoices and other billing emails go to the account's owner. You can add additional recipients, which don't have to be connected to the account, by going into Account settings → Invoices
Noteworthy
The Appfigures platform allows each email address to be associated with one AppFigures account. This means that a single email address cannot be a sub-user of more than one account.
It's possible to give a single email address access to data from multiple Appfigures account using the Sharing functionality. Read more about Sharing →
If you do however need to add a team member as a sub-user and can't use sharing, you have two possible options:
- Use a different email address for this sub-user - If the user has a separate email address they can use, take that email address instead. You can alternatively use plus-addressing to use the same email address for separate accounts.
- Have the user close their existing Appfigures account - If the account was opened by mistake or is not longer in use (ex. needing to connect to a company account), closing the account is the simplest solution. Closing the account will free up the email address. Once free, it can be added to the main account.
