# Reply to Reviews with the App Store Connect API

Appfigures makes replying to reviews fast & convenient. All you need is to link your App Store Connect account to get started, but for even faster responses, we recommend connecting the App Store Connect API. 

||| Your App Store Connect user must have the `Admin` role to generate API keys

### Generate an App Store Connect API Key: 

1. Log in to [App Store Connect](https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login).
2. Navigate to ***Users & Access > [Integrations](https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/access/integrations/api)*** and click the `+` button. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/1/6/f/5/16f5957f6b3a4700/image_hot1n6.png =850x367)
3. Enter a name for the key (i.e., Appfigures) and set Access to `Customer Support` ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/1/6/f/5/16f5957f6b3a4700/image_1igxwfi.png =850x411)
4. Click *Generate* and the new key will show up in the Active table along with a `Download` link. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/1/6/f/5/16f5957f6b3a4700/image_1a6rmqn.png =850x367)
5. Click the `Download` link, and then click `Download` again when the pop-up appears. **Important: **the download link is only available after key creation and will not be present again.

### Add the API Key to Your Appfigures Account

1. Go to the Linked Accounts page. Click 'edit' next to your App Store Connect account. 
2. In the *Optional* section, paste the `Issuer ID` and enter the `Key ID` from the table in App Store Connect.
