# Linking Your Stripe Account

Being able to track all of the revenue your mobile apps and games generate in one place is critical to your business's success.

Appfigures' *Unified Dashboard* automates that for you, regardless of how or where you accept payments.

With Appfigures' Stripe integration, you can track revenue generated outside of in-app purchases and Apple's and Google's subscription systems, right alongside everything else.

### Connect Your Stripe Account to Appfigures

1. Log in to your Appfigures Account
2. Click on your avatar (top right corner) and then on "My profile"
3. Go to [Linked Accounts](https://appfigures.com/account/externals)
4. Click on "Link an Account"
5. Select Stripe from the list of providers
6. Enter the email address and API key for your Stripe account
7. Click on "Add"

### Create a Restricted API Key

To restrict access to only sales data, we recommend creating a restricted key with limited permissions for linking.

1. Log into your [Stripe](https://dashboard.stripe.com/login) dashboard
2. Click on "Developers" (top right)
3. Click on "API keys" from the menu on the left
4. Click "Create restricted key"
5. Name the key "Appfigures" (for the sake of simplicity)
6. Set the following permissions to `Read`
* **Core Resources:**
    * Balance
    * Balance transaction sources
    * Charges
    * Products
* **Billing Resources:**
    * Invoices
    * Plans / Prices (some Stripe dashboards may show "Plans" while others see "Prices")
    * Subscriptions
* **All reporting resources**
    * Report Runs and Report Types
7. Click on "Create key"

Once the key has been created, head back into your Appfigures account and into your *Profile* → Linked Accounts → [Link an Account](https://appfigures.com/account/externals#/add/2).

### Match Items from Stripe to Apps

After the initial sync is complete, you'll be able to attach items from your Stripe account to apps and games in your Appfigures account for accurate reports.

1. Head into the [Unit Matching](https://appfigures.com/account/units) page
2. Select the relevant app for each item

Your reports will update automatically.

* The integration supports invoice billing but not one time payments.
* We don't collect subscription information, just revenue.
