# Connecting Appfigures to ChatGPT

ChatGPT is smart, but it's not App Smart™. Connect Appfigures to ChatGPT to provide it with information about competitors, keywords, your own performance, reviews, and much more.

To do that we'll use the Appfigures MCP:

1. Log into your ChatGPT account → Settings → Plugins  
2. Click +Add → Create Custom MCP Server
3.  Name the plugin Appfigures, enter `https://mcp.appfigures.com/mcp` for the Connection's Server URL, and select `OAuth` for the authentication
4. Click Create as a Plugin
5. A popup will open asking you to authenticate your Appfigures account. Follow the instruction son the screen to log into your Appfigures account and authorize ChatGPT

You're all set. You can now use Appfigures data in your ChatGPT so you can ask questions about any data that's available in your account, like this one:
