Beta: Connecting Your Apple Ads Account

Appfigures offers a beta integration with Apple Ads that gives you deeper reporting and analytics for your Apple Ads campaigns. Setting it up requires a short key exchange between your Apple Ads account and Appfigures.

This feature is currently in beta. To get access, contact support.

How It Works

Appfigures uses a public/private key pair to securely connect to your Apple Ads account. We generate both keys and send you the public key. You upload it to Apple Ads, which gives you three IDs that you send back to us. The private key never leaves our servers, so the entire exchange is safe over email.

Before You Start

You'll need an Apple Ads account with access to Apple Ads Advanced.

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Contact Support

Reach out to Appfigures support to request access to the Apple Ads beta. We'll generate a public key and send it to you over email.

  1. Create an API User in Apple Ads

Log in to Apple Ads and go to Account Settings > Users. Invite a new user with the API Account Manager role. You'll need to accept the invitation and may need to create a new Apple ID using the instructions Apple sends.

Each Apple Ads user can only have one API key. If you're already using the Apple Ads API, create a new user rather than reusing an existing one.

  1. Upload the Public Key

Log in to Apple Ads using the new API user and go to Account Settings > API. Paste the public key we sent you and generate the API credentials.

  1. Send Us the Three IDs

After uploading the key, Apple will show you three values - Client ID, Team ID, and Key ID. Send all three to Appfigures support. These aren't sensitive, so email is fine.

  1. Done

We'll finish configuring the connection on our end and let you know when your account is ready.
